Wiesbaden in Germany is one of the oldest spa towns in Europe, just 35 minutes away by train from Frankfurt, Europe’s financial capital as well as seat of the European Central Bank.

Right here in this quiet and elegant town, surrounded by nature with the River Rhine flowing through it, is where Marina Rinaldi has chosen to open its new flagship store next February 2012 in the exclusive Wilhelmstrasse, one of the most important streets that lies east of the town where the most prestigious boutiques and famous restaurants and pubs can be found.

With a modern and refined concept design, the new Marina Rinaldi store will present the brand’s entire collection covering an area of 85 m2 of pure Made in Italy glamour and elegance where passers-by can get a preview thanks to the two spacious windows overlooking the street.

Dresden is known as “Florence of the Elbe” because of its many baroque and rococo style buildings and the river Elbe that defines its contours.

But if its beauty remains unknown to most people, friends of Marina Rinaldi will surely have a great reason to visit Dresden: in Toepferstrasse 2, in fact, (as we had announced) a new boutique has just opened for those in search of MR collections.

In an area of 100 m2, within walking distance of both Hofkirche and Zwinger along a pedestrian zone where most of the architectural masterpieces of the city and the most important art galleries converge, you can find Marina Rinaldi clothes and accessories (for all occasions DAY-NIGHT-CEREMONY- SPORT, including the NEW Denim Collection recently featured in the shop window), immersed as always in an atmosphere of elegant design, made ​​up of minimal furnishings and neutral tones, interspersed with wood and chrome details.

If design has always been one of the attractions of the charming German capital, the new Marina Rinaldi flagship store inaugurated in Berlin just a few days ago has earned its place there.

Situated on the splendid and lively Friedrichstrasse, a succession of luxury cafés and elegant stores, once divided by the Berlin Wall in two sections, east and west, at the height of the world-famous Check-Point Charlie.

Inside a nineteenth century building in Siroka the shop looks out onto the town’s Jewish neighbourhood.

Transparent surfaces and display areas alternate inside it following a contemporary linearity which is in harmony with the atmospheres and colours of the Czech Republic’s capital.

Strips of indirect light frame the volumes of the surfaces in the colours of stone grey for the floors, powder puff pink for the stuccoed walls and dark grey for the plaster work purposely left unfinished. White lights up the ceilings and walls while walnut wood elements make room for themselves discreetly but essentially.

This all makes it possible to exalt once again the creative changeableness of the Collections, true stars of each Marina Rinaldi store.

Marina Rinaldi celebrates its presence in Singapore’s shopping district par excellence: ION Orchard. A new centre of gravity for luxury, much more than a mall, a veritable centre of art and culture.

And here the new Concept Store is born, remodelling the Marina Rinaldi spaces, making its mark on the path of modernity.
The curving front view in burnished brass is broken by an irregular sequence of vertical columns. A large entrance area links the diagonal “runway” which accompanies the visitor into the shop. In this way, the shop windows with backlit screens become the true stars of the entrance area.

Shiny surfaces play with matte ones, sophisticated finishes with natural ones and the use of traditional materials is in harmony with the mark of a design which distinguishes the urban atmospheres of our times. The traditional Italian handicraft of the Canaletto walnut furnishings punctuate and warm it all, creating a contrast with the shiny steel of the hanging bars.

The contrasts of surfaces and materials were designed to highlight the creative mutability of the Collections, the true stars of the Marina Rinaldi Concept Store.
