New Shop Openings
We have no doubt: even Jo Stockton – the mannequin impersonated by Audrey Hepburn and directed by Stanley Donen in the classic “Funny Face” – walking through the streets of the French capital alongside Fred Astaire in this day and age, would have taken a peek. Even the eternal Audrey would have turned up in our parisienne boutique and would have nodded her head. In approval. Perhaps defining Marina Rinaldi clothes as “synthetic beauties”, as in the film. Those garments hanging there, as if suspended. Radiant, stripped of their frills. Among the turtledove panels and the polished geometries of the display units, in a delightful niche inside the Grand Magasin Printemps, at No. 64 Boulevard Haussmann.
This is the location of the new Parisian store which the fashion house from Reggio Emilia opened in February 2013, in conjunction with the opening of two other proudly French corners: the first in Lyon, the other in Strasbourg, both in the iconic Galeries Lafayette, paraphrasing the bon-ton from beyond the Alps, through a skillful use of lines, tones and furniture modules. For a style that amazes, without going overboard. A hallmark that the MR fashion label has recently revived, by opening to the public other stores in countries outside the EU: dated back to May 2013, the launch of a franchise store in the transcontinental state of Kazakhstan – 136 sq m along Dostyk Street in Astana, the capital -, while in the Russian city of Kazan in Tatarstan, two spacious windows invaded by lights have welcomed the admirers of the brand in the autonomous Republic of the Russian Federation.
But that’s not all: the cutting of the red ribbon took place also in Asia, at the Nanjin Jingling centre in Nanjing, the Chinese city on the Yangtze River Delta, in conjunction with the renovation of the boutique in Dubai, inside the Burjuman Mal, the second largest shopping centre in the Arab Emirates, in which luxury and good taste exquisitely converse. A place where one can talk about fashion and everyday things using only two words: Marina Rinaldi.
The new Marina Rinaldi flagship store will shortly open in the heart of Lisbon, the fascinating Portuguese capital, one of the most visited and picturesque cities in the world thanks to its particular architecture and its wealth of cultural references and landscape.
The brand already has a temporary store in 258 Avenida da Liberdade, and the re-opening of the new store is expected in March 2014; thanks to an important refurbishing process, the store will appear even more modern and friendly, perfectly in line with the new store concept of the brand.
The location is undoubtedly very prestigious: it is precisely situated in a strategic point along the city’s main artery, a wide and scenic avenue characterised by elegant fountains and decorative pavements. The Marina Rinaldi flagship store will have a completely new image, welcoming the public in a sophisticated and contemporary space.
Always attentive to the design of its stores, Marina Rinaldi aims to satisfy all its customers’ needs, by creating a pleasant environment packed with special proposals, based on the concept of quality at 360°.
Another important milestone for Marina Rinaldi to celebrate, which in recent months has focused greatly on renovating its stores in some of the most important European cities in order to offer its customers an even more prestigious service.
February saw the turn of the stores in Stuttgart and Montecarlo that have a much cosier environment, are rather spacious with elegant furnishings, and are characterised by the presence of sophisticated yet modern materials.
The store in Stuttgart, one of the most important German cities in terms of economic and cultural development, is located in the heart of Calwerstrasse and it also celebrates its tenth birthday this year. It reopened on 27 February and now has a warm and stylish image.
Whereas the store in Montecarlo, located in a privileged position in the luxury Metropole shopping centre in front of the Hotel de Paris, reopened on 19 February. Here the focus was on renovating the image of a store considered to be a small jewel and which offers a very exclusive range of product, just as exclusive as the city that houses the store and the shopping centre itself. The Metropole in fact is located in a prestigious area just opposite the Casino gardens and houses eighty boutiques in a building that stands out for its luxury décor and magnificent marble.
With so much regard for its stores, Marina Rinaldi demonstrates its constant growth focusing mainly on the needs of its customers not only by offering fashionable and quality outfits, but also by creating comfortable and luxurious spaces for them thus making shopping a unique and rewarding experience.
For Marina Rinaldi, 2013 means renovation with the re-opening of the stores in Amsterdam and Baden Baden, two charming European cities located in two highly important countries: The Netherlands and Germany.
The Marina Rinaldi store is situated in the luxury shopping street PC Hoofstraat in Amsterdam, capital of the Netherlands, famous for its romantic canals and for its peaceful atmosphere that makes its visitors forget they are in a big city. Following the renovation that has privileged its interiors, this cosy yet at the same time contemporary environment will bring out the best of the range of clothing.
The store in Baden Baden emerges from refurbishment even more welcoming and of even greater visual impact than before. Once a major cultural centre, today this pleasant and elegant town is a famous and prestigious tourist resort and spa, located in the heart of the Black Forest: the ideal place to house one of the Marina Rinaldi flagship stores.
Here the store has been expanded thus increasing its sales space that now has a vast surface area and four windows overlooking one of the main shopping streets that allow better visibility.
In this way the store, which has doubled its space and its offer, will be a great attraction for both local customers and for the many tourists who have always flocked to the resort.
The purpose of this renovation is indeed to give Marina Rinaldi customers visiting the stores, an even wider selection of products in an elegant and comfortable environment that is able to welcome and to pamper them while shopping.
Mid September 2012 has opened the first Marina Rinaldi Flagship Store in the Danish market, in Ostergade 10, Copenhagen, just a stone’s throw from the splendid Nyhavn Canal.
With the opening of this two-storey, 200 m2 store in the most prestigious shopping area in Copenhagen, Marina Rinaldi further consolidates its presence in the main European capitals, and in particular in the Scandinavian area. The store’s linear façade, marked by alternating transparent and burnished metal surfaces, represents the perfect marriage between the elegance of the city and the contemporary style of Marina Rinaldi and its collections.
In the broad, luminous interiors created with sophisticated materials, the powder pink painted walls are enriched by steel inserts that blend well with the wooden floors and the pastel carpets. The discreet elegance of the details and the welcoming atmosphere of the store are hallmarks of the recognition and prestige of the Marina Rinaldi brand around the world.
Another important international appointment awaits Marina Rinaldi: in Munich on Thursday 20th September, a new, completely renovated store will open in one of the most elegant areas of the city, lined with boutiques, cafes and must-see places. This prestigious building which houses the store is in fact located in the heart of the state of Bavaria and its windows overlook the very central Maffeistrasse, one of the main shopping streets.
The store has been redesigned so that it adapts to the concept store specially created for Marina Rinaldi. As Madrid, Brussels and Paris, even Munich has decided to renew its own image by opting for elegant and stylish furnishings: an area covering approx. 250 sq m specially designed to accommodate customers in a space which is in line with the spirit of the company.
Enriched with pure wool carpets, elegant lampshades, walnut staircase and brass étagère, the store stretches out on two floors where the refined details are the background to the exclusive Marina Rinaldi collections.
The opening will be an opportunity to thank devoted customers and it is the intention of Marina Rinaldi to dedicate more attention to its followers by opening new stores and renovating the already existing spaces. This is the response to an ever-growing demand for high quality Made in Italy products that has conquered curvy women all over the world.

Wiesbaden in Germany is one of the oldest spa towns in Europe, just 35 minutes away by train from Frankfurt, Europe’s financial capital as well as seat of the European Central Bank.
Right here in this quiet and elegant town, surrounded by nature with the River Rhine flowing through it, is where Marina Rinaldi has chosen to open its new flagship store next February 2012 in the exclusive Wilhelmstrasse, one of the most important streets that lies east of the town where the most prestigious boutiques and famous restaurants and pubs can be found.

Dresden is known as “Florence of the Elbe” because of its many baroque and rococo style buildings and the river Elbe that defines its contours.
But if its beauty remains unknown to most people, friends of Marina Rinaldi will surely have a great reason to visit Dresden: in Toepferstrasse 2, in fact, (as we had announced) a new boutique has just opened for those in search of MR collections.
